There is this thing hanging over all of us called Karma.
Simply put, it is "What you sow you shall reap."
To those out there who do not believe in it, what can I say? When we pass over from this reality into that unknown realm, then we will find out, won't we? For this writer and others who subscribe to the truth of karma, every action in this life must and will be accounted for in either our next stop or... thru instant karma.
Yury Bykov's 2014 film The Fool deals with some sort of karma. The film focuses on how the new capitalism in Russia can become ugly. The town the film takes place in is run by totally selfish and greedy leaders, whereupon corruption is a way of life.
One man, a completely honest man, cares more for the lowest dregs of the town enough to jeopardize everything he has in life. A must see film that teaches us all exactly how unchecked "free market capitalism" rots the very foundations of society. Isn't that what we have here in our own country for God knows how long?
This writer can go to great lengths to indict our whole Military Industrial Empire for what it has done to transform us into a Banana Republic. Rather, let us just focus on perhaps one of the most heinous acts perpetrated by our empire, and how its bastard child grows stronger each day: The illegal and immoral invasion and occupation of Iraq, and our jackboots pressing deeper in the Middle East.
Writer Ian Sinclair has written a powerful commentary on the Global Research site (June 24th) -- "Derailing Chilcot: The Red Herring of Post-War Planning in Iraq" -- about the revisionist history and opinions by Amerika's UK puppets.
According to Sinclair's documentations of the famous Chilicot Inquiry aftermath, the UK has its own phony media spin machine. The mainstream British press, Siamese twin to our own, focuses more on the occupation of Iraq and not the actual pre-emptive illegal and immoral attack on it.
Sinclair quotes Cambridge Professor David Runciman saying that the United States and UK invaded Iraq "to spread the merits of democracy." Most of the pundits quoted by Sinclair all agreed that the occupation was mishandled, etc., but as the BBC's John Humphreys stated in 2012 as to the insurgency, when asked about the British occupation of Iraq: "If a country has sent its young men to another country to die, to restore, create democracy, you'd expect a bit of gratitude, wouldn't you?"
As far as the number one U.S. empire's UK puppet, Tony Blair, the Guardian newspaper (supposed left wing leaning UK paper) offered Blair an outlet for his twisted and shameful reasoning. According to the paper, Blair "will argue the ultimate cause of the long term bloodshed in Iraq was the scale of external intervention in the country by Iran and Al-Qaeda."
A select few who ran the town and a certain businesses in The Fool profited handsomely from taxpayer money diverted into their greedy and corrupt hands. Well, in our Reality Show version of the Iraq War experience, a select few companies and individuals profited to the tune of hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars during the occupation.
You see, the scam is simple, and it has never changed: You destroy a nation's infrastructure and of course its people, and then get your taxpayers to subsidize the rebuilding. Whereas the crooked town leaders in The Fool illegally pocketed money scheduled for the community's improvement, everything involving the Iraq occupation was done legally... except of course the actual invasion.
Some say the whole disaster has already cost our nation more than $1 trillion. The Brits have their own "raided treasury" to calculate. Regardless, this is all money that could have been spent to do so many wonderful things at home, whether in the United States or UK. It is gone... for good!
The sad point of it all is that like the fools who lived in the depleted building in The Fool -- who returned to their apartments even after being warned by the good guy in the film (first beating him unconscious for "bothering them") -- so we have millions of fools right here.
The mainstream media, which shovels most of the **** that they digest, continues to con them about what both our two major political parties are all about. As with the 52 percent of Brits who were wise enough to say NO to the European Union and its New World Order handlers, so we need true conservative and true progressive Americans to say NO to Trump and Killary and vote for the Libertarians and Greens.
Yes, voting is not the end game, rather just a beginning. Isn't it ironic how the Libertarians and Greens agree 1000 percent that our military spending is obscene, our bases worldwide a disgrace, and of course our jackboots in the Middle East and now threatening Russia and China a ghastly mistake.
The Bush/Cheney gang did their dastardly deeds for the empire. Then Obama "followed orders... oh sorry, followed advice" and continued the charade in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Pakistan and Syria.
This crazy ISIS would never have existed and grown substantially without what the Bush/Cheney gang and now Obama had done. Each time another drone missile kills innocent civilians more Middle Easterners support those people.
To all those fools out there who either believe in the lies and disinformation shoveled at them, or the ones who tell this writer "Voting for a 3rd party is a wasted vote": Karma is real!!
