March 11, 2007 -- Why didn't Sunday Talk mention that an Arab (Dubai) company is to become the Pentagon super/main contractor as Halliburton bows to the wishes of it's main investor, the King of Saudi Arabia -- the country where 15 of the 19 9/11 terrorist originated -- and moves its headquarters to Dubai.

So much for protecting our national military strength and security -- this company will only have to answer to our U.S. corporate governance laws that apply to foriegn companies, while not paying tax under the usual IRS Code 482 fraud as to where "value added was done," meaning: Was the United States the country where the profit was made?

If Port Security made Dubai Ports a problem, does this mean we cancel the current super Pentagon contract that puts this Dubai company that answers to the Saudi's in charge of much of our defense?

“U.S. oil services giant Halliburton Co. will shift its corporate headquarters from Houston to Dubai,” the Wall Street Journal reports. Halliburton’s new location “will be better placed to focus on relations with the Gulf’s enormous national oil companies.”

Halliburton to Move Headquarters To Dubai, Keeping Office in Houston

Oil services giant Halliburton Co. will soon shift its corporate headquarters from Houston to the Mideast financial powerhouse of Dubai, chief executive Dave Lesar announced Sunday.

(snip)

Lesar, speaking at an energy conference in nearby Bahrain, said he will relocate to Dubai from Texas to oversee Halliburton's intensified focus on business in the Mideast and energy-hungry Asia, home to some of the world's most important oil and gas markets.
