Nov. 19, 2008 (World News Trust) -- Despite Ted Kennedy's offer of that "important part in the health care debate," the seven senators meeting to discuss the future health care plan did not include Hillary Clinton.

The Nov. 19 meeting had Senators Max Baucus of Montana, Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut, Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts and John D. Rockefeller IV of West Virginia, all Democrats, and Michael B. Enzi of Wyoming, Charles E. Grassley of Iowa and Orrin G. Hatch of Utah, Republicans.

The Hillary plan ran 28 pages, in another bit of Health reform news, these Senators are pleased with the health insurance company's saying they would agree to drop individual underwriting if everyone must join - which is no concession at all since that is how they already operate when they sell a policy to an employer -- that "Group Health Ins Policy" does not require individual underwriting -- you don't look at anyone's past history of illness -- and every employee must be covered -- there is no opt in or opt out.

Are our media going to try to con us so that we stop here with no Public policy option -- no low premium basic coverage "Medicare for all" as an option to buying coverage from the health insurers -- - indeed without all the other things in the 28-page Hillary Plan? Or is our media just stupid -- are we into no analysis in covering the news because that might offend health insurance corporations and their advertising dollars so we only do he said/she said reporting?
