Israel continued its bombing campaign in various parts of central and southern Gaza. In northern Gaza, Israeli strikes were accompanied by fierce fighting at several fronts.
Meanwhile, negotiations are reportedly underway in Qatar, involving the head of the CIA, William Burns, to mediate the release of 10 to 15 hostages, in exchange for a humanitarian ceasefire.
Clashes between Palestinian Resistance and Israeli occupation forces continue in the West Bank, amid a rise in Jewish settler attacks at Palestinian communities.
