On Friday at dawn, a special Israeli military unit attempted to rescue an Israeli soldier captured by Hamas. Instead of rescuing him, however, the soldier was killed, along with several other Israeli soldiers.
Israeli attacks on civilian homes continued across the Gaza Strip, demonstrating yet again there are no safe zones anywhere in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Resistance escalated its attacks on Israeli soldiers at all axes, killing and wounding many.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 17,177 Palestinians have been killed and more than 46,000 wounded since the start of the war on October 7. The majority of Palestinian casualties are women and children.
